Bulk Actions & Restock Plans

Select multiple products on the Inventory Overview and turn them into a purchase order or transfer plan in two clicks.

The Inventory Overview's bulk actions are how you go from "this is what needs to happen" to a real purchase order or transfer plan. Select the products you care about, and the bulk actions toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen with shortcuts to create or add to a plan.

Selecting products

Each row has a checkbox in the leftmost column. You have three ways to build a selection:

The selection count shows in the bottom toolbar so you always know how many products you have queued.

Combine selection with the Restock or Transfer tab to bulk-build a plan from every product needing action. You can also stack filters first (for example, by brand or supplier) so the selection stays focused.

Bulk action toolbar

When at least one product is selected, a toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen with these actions:

  • Create Order -- starts a new restock plan from the selected products
  • Add to Order -- adds the selected products to an existing draft or active plan

Each action opens a wizard that walks you through the rest.

Create Order

Clicking Create Order opens the Create Restock Plan dialog. The wizard has two paths:

Transfer plan (warehouse to FBA)

Use this when you have inventory in a warehouse, AWD, or 3PL that needs to move into FBA.

Choose plan type

Select Transfer.

Pick the destination

Choose which sales channel (marketplace) the inventory is going to. You can pick more than one.

Pick the source warehouse

Choose where the inventory is coming from. This can be a 3PL, your own warehouse, or AWD.

Create the plan

Click Create Plan. Profit Hawk creates a draft plan with all the selected products and their recommended transfer quantities.

Reorder plan (purchase from supplier)

Use this when you need to place a new order with a supplier.

Choose plan type

Select Reorder.

Pick the destination

Choose which sales channel (marketplace) the order will eventually serve. You can pick more than one.

Pick the supplier

Select the supplier you are ordering from. If you have not added them yet, see Managing Suppliers.

Create the plan

Click Create Plan. Profit Hawk creates a draft plan with all the selected products and their recommended reorder quantities.

After the plan is created, you land on the plan detail page where you can adjust quantities, change dates, set payment terms, generate a PDF purchase order, and create the inbound shipment when you are ready.

Add to Order

Clicking Add to Order opens a dialog showing your existing draft and active plans. Pick a plan and Profit Hawk merges the selected products into it.

If a product you selected is already in the chosen plan, Profit Hawk skips it and shows how many were skipped versus added in the success notification.

You can only add products to plans in Draft or Active status. Plans that are Complete or Cancelled are read-only.

Limits

There is a per-plan product limit. If you select more products than the limit allows, the dialog shows a warning and disables Create Plan. Reduce the selection or split the work across two plans.

After creating a plan

The plan detail page is where the real work happens:

  • Adjust Order Qty or Transfer Qty per product if the recommendation needs fine-tuning
  • Change the PO Date, Completion Date, Payment Terms, and Ship From Address
  • Add notes for your supplier
  • Generate a PDF purchase order to send to your supplier
  • Create the inbound shipment to Amazon when the order arrives
