External Warehouses

Track inventory stored at warehouses outside of Amazon by adding external warehouses in Profit Hawk.

If you store inventory at a warehouse outside of Amazon (such as a 3PL, prep center, or your own facility), you can add it as an external warehouse in Profit Hawk. This lets you see your full stock position across all locations when planning replenishment.

Add an external warehouse

Open the Warehouses page

Go to the Warehouses page in Profit Hawk, or navigate to Settings > Warehouses.

Click Add Warehouse

Click the Add Warehouse button and enter a name for your warehouse.

Profit Hawk also automatically creates an AWD warehouse if it detects Amazon Warehousing & Distribution inventory on your account. See Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD) for details.

Which products appear in your warehouse tables

The Warehouses page and each warehouse's inventory table show only products with the status Active. Archived products are left out of the inventory list, and out of the product count, total quantity, and value totals on the Warehouses page.

Archiving a product does not erase its stock. Profit Hawk keeps the quantities you recorded, so if you set the product back to Active it reappears in these tables with its counts intact.

This matches how the rest of Profit Hawk treats archived products, which are excluded from forecasting and replenishment. See Product Settings for how to change a product's status.

Update stock from a spreadsheet

You do not have to edit quantities one cell at a time. Export the warehouse to Excel, update the numbers there, and import the file back to overwrite quantities or receive new units in one go. See Update Warehouse Stock from a Spreadsheet.
