Connecting Your Amazon Account
Step-by-step guide to linking your Amazon Seller Central account to Profit Hawk for automatic inventory and sales data sync.
Profit Hawk connects to Amazon Seller Central through the SP-API to pull your inventory, order, and shipment data. This connection is required before you can use forecasting or replenishment features.
Before you start
You need:
- An active Amazon Seller Central account (Professional plan recommended)
- Admin access to your Profit Hawk account
Connect your account
Open the integrations page
Log in to Profit Hawk and go to Settings > Integrations > Amazon Seller Central.
Start the connection
Click Connect. You will be redirected to Amazon Seller Central to sign in.
Approve permissions
Review the permissions Profit Hawk is requesting and click Authorize. Profit Hawk requests read-only access to your inventory, orders, and FBA data.
Return to Profit Hawk
After authorizing, you will be redirected back to Profit Hawk. Your inventory data should begin syncing within a few minutes.
Verify the connection
After completing the steps above, confirm everything is working:
- Go to Settings > Integrations and check that Amazon Seller Central shows as Active
- Navigate to Inventory and confirm your products are appearing in the table
If data does not appear after 10 minutes, try clicking the Refresh button on the integrations page. See Data Not Syncing if the issue persists.
What data does Profit Hawk access?
Profit Hawk syncs the following from your Seller Central account:
- Inventory levels (FBA quantities, reserved units, inbound units)
- Sales and order history (used for demand forecasting)
- Inbound shipment status (units in transit to Amazon fulfillment centers)
- Product catalog (ASINs, SKUs, product titles)
Profit Hawk does not modify any data in your Amazon account.
Disconnecting
To remove the connection, go to Settings > Integrations > Amazon Seller Central and click Disconnect. Your historical data in Profit Hawk is retained, but no new data will sync.
